The Educational Foundation of Michael A. Civin, Ph.D.

The foundation for everything in Michael A. Civin, Ph.D.’s career in psychology seems to come out of his innate fondness for education. In addition to practicing as a psychologist for many years, he has been a professor or other faculty member at numerous institutions of higher learning in recent years. He also does copious amounts of research in the field and his writing has been published often, as white papers, journal articles and book chapters.

He started by earning an A.B. from Harvard, and went on to earn not one, but two Masters of Arts degrees; one from the University of Oregon and the other from Adelphi University. He also worked to obtain a a Ph.D. from Adelphi and medical degree from the Pennsylvania Institute Of Straight Chiropractic. Though he has been practicing psychology for almost three decades, Dr. Michael A Civin realized years ago that a great education was the key to getting what he wanted, so he went after that.
